To-day Eleven Australian Miniatures receive their National Premiere at the National Carillon Canberra as part of the Canberra International Music Festival.

Australia Council for the Arts

The Eleven Australian Miniatures project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.  

National Capital Authority

In Collaboration with the Australia Council for the Arts the National Capital Authority has commissioned the Compositions you will hear today.  

Carillonists

Funding for this project was sought by Lead Carillonist Lyn Fuller and Senior Carillonist Dr Thomas Laue.

Composers

The following composers represented are:

Gerard Brophy, Judith Clingan, Andrew Ford, Matthew Hindson, Elena Kats-Chernin, Becky Llewellyn, Kate Moore, Chris Sainsbury, Larry Sitsky, Jessica Wells and Natalie Williams.

World Premiere

The Miniatures will receive their World Premiere at the World Carillon Federation Congress in Barcelona July 2017.

Yesterday the Eleven Australian Miniatures received their National Premiere at the National Carillon Canberra as part of the Canberra International Music Festival.  

They will become part of the National and International repertoire for Carillon. Today they are presented once again for your enjoyment.
